Margarita and Josephina Fraga were born in Mexico. Josephina was born June 11, 1910 and Margarita was born June 10, 1914.
The family eventually made their way to New Braunfels, Texas. Margarita and Josephina along with their brother Juan began singing as teenagers in New Braunfels.
Sometime in the early 1940's they were encouraged by their aunt Margarita to relocate to San Antonio, Texas.
